My husband had back surgery on Dec 21,2021. Dr V.is an awesome and very caring doctor. He explained in detail what the surgery entailed and how my recovery would be. His staff is very helpful and nice also. I would totally recommend Dr V. to anyone that needs a back surgeon. Thank you so much Dr. V for helping me with my back pain and for caring. Thanks to you staff also. From the minute we walked into the office for our first appointment, we felt like Dr. V really cared about his patients and wants to help them anyway he can.

When I first went to Dr. Ram I couldn't sit for 15 minutes, which made working incredibly difficult. Now I can sit as long as I need to get the job done. I saw four other spine surgeons before Dr. Ram. Two referred me back to PT and two who recommended procedures that seemed much more invasive than necessary. Dr. Ram treated my herniation aggressively but with modern and minimally invasive techniques. I highly recommend seeking out the best and Austin Neuro Spine is the best.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Vasudevan and the entire staff at Austin NeuroSpine. I spent well over 2 years in pain, avoiding surgery. I came to Dr. V's office after exploring several options. After meeting with Dr. V I scheduled MIS TILF surgery. It's been almost 6 months now and I am 100% happy with the outcomes; I wake up without pain, places in my leg/foot that were numb are starting to recover. It's an absolute life changer and I'm so pleased with the outcomes.

Looking for a great Neuro Spine Surgeon with a caring attitude, the latest medical knowledge, a wonderful team and will treat you like family, you have found him. 5 weeks after surgery at least 80% of my pain is gone. My quality of life has greatly improved. I can see myself being able to continue my lifestyle THANK YOU DR. V. If I had to do it all over again I would come right back to Dr. V. Dr. V is an amazing physician & surgeon. He truly is one of the best doctors that I have been around. He explains everything, so there are no surprises. Dr. V took an extended amount of time to provide detailed answers to my multiple questions. He called me after my procedure to see how I was doing. Not many spinal surgeons would do that. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing spinal repairs. He is truly amazing!

Dr. Vasudevan is the best! My husband was having serve back pain and could barely walk a year ago. Dr. V expedited his surgery of a double fusion of the L-4 & L-5 disks in May 2021 because we were going on vacation in June. The surgery was successful and my husband is back to doing the things he loves which includes golfing. Dr. V has a great bedside manner and won't rush you into any surgery that is not needed. I highly recommend Dr. V and have referred him to another friend whose husband is having back problems.

After two other surgical consults and years trying to avoid surgery, I was referred to Dr V by my pain management Dr, as well as two personal friends who were already patients. My husband (who is 48) has had chronic back pain most of his life. He had a crack in his spine since birth and was diagnosed with spinal arthritis at an early age. Dr. V operated on my lower back to repair 2 herniated discs in December of 2019. This surgery absolutely changed my life! Before being treated by Dr. V., I was in terrible pain nearly all the time. Since my surgery, I have little to no pain, and I am able to to all of the things I was unable to do before due to pain. I highly recommend Dr. V to anyone who is struggling with pain. The success of the surgery he performed on me far exceeded my expectations!

Dr. V is amazing. After a horrible car wreck, I dealt with constant numbness, tingling and aching on both my right and left arms from an injured neck. I had a C4-C7 ACDF and immediately felt relief. He is a great Dr. and very genuine person. I've never had a Dr. like him. I would highly recommend him to anyone with spinal/nerve issues. Hands down. The BEST! Dr. Vasudevan is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who is considering back surgery. He was through in his diagnoses and explained exactly what needed to be done to correct my problem. I suffered with unbearable back and leg pain for around 1 year , assuming that going forward, this would be what my life would look like . I was not excited about the spinal fusion procedure that Dr. Vasudevan recommended, but I trusted him. He explained issues in language I could understand. Dr V has treated me for L5 S1 disc and I am feeling great after surgery. He is the best neurosurgeon in Austin. Before him, I did visit multiple doctors to get opinions but their recommendations were not well. Dr V guided me well with the severity of the issue and also provided excellent information on how it needs to be done. He and his team has always been supportive in the days before surgery and also after surgery for the followups.

Came to Dr V for a second opinion ended up letting him to all my surgery and another surgeon that was going to work on my back but Dr V worked on my neck and highly considering letting him work on my back because of how well and good of a job he did on my neck brought me back to what I was before I was in the car wreck I would recommend him to family friend or anyone.

Today is week 3 since having the surgery and I can say with absolute certainty that Dr V. is a great surgeon. He explained the procedure in detail, took great care of me and made me feel at ease ( I was very nervous about having surgery). I highly recommend Dr V. if you are are considering the surgery. His staff is extremely helpful and made the entire process easy.

Dr. Vasudevan is wonderful! I am three months out from having my C5 - C7 fused, and I feel great. I was in so much pain before my surgery, and I woke up feeling better. The numbness in my fingers was gone. Dr. Vasudevan cares about his patients and spends the time to go over all the information you need.
